The cruising adventures of a Najad nymph
Yacht Galatea

Sailing yacht: Galatea of Stow

Galatea is a Najad 360 built in 1989 in Sweden.

Owned originally by Graham Payne for 15 years she is now our home, transport, bar and swimming platform.

(Graham is still cruising on his new yacht Eowyn, a 40ft Hallberg-Rassy - you can find his site online at http://homepage.virgin.net/graham.payne/eowynhomepage.html)

We are justly proud of Galatea who has all the home comforts.

  • Foredeck - great for sunbathing (and entertaining)
  • Centre cockpit - great for entertaining
  • Aft deck - good fishing platform (great for entertaining friends)
  • Roomy saloon - great for entertaining, partys and getting to other bits of the boat
  • Large aft cabin (but nowhere for my hairdryer)
  • Forepeak - for when friends come to stay
  • Galley - with fridge so the beer stays ice cold
  • Heads - WITH shower!!!!!!!!!!
